These easy no-bake chocolate chip oatmeal cookies are a snap to make, and the large yield is perfect to satisfy guests at a party or any other gathering. The recipe is for a big batch, but it can be reduced proportionally.


  • 4 cups sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup cocoa (unsweetened)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup margarine
  • 6 cups oatmeal

Steps to Make It

  1. Mix margarine, sugar, milk, cocoa, and salt, and bring to a full boil, stirring constantly.

  2. Boil for 1 full minute.

  3. Remove from heat and add remaining ingredients.

  4. Stir thoroughly and drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper, parchment paper or foil.
