This Japanese dish is made with marinated buri is fried with sweet soy sauce based sauce.
Ingredients
- 4 fillets buri (yellowtail)
- For the Marinade:
- 2 tablespoon sake
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- For the Sauce:
- 2 teaspoon sugar
- 3 teaspoon soy sauce
- 4 tablespoon mirin
Steps to Make It

Mix sake and soy sauce in a bowl and marinate fish for 5-10 minutes.

Mix ingredients for sauce in a small bowl and set aside.

Wipe the fish with paper towels.

Heat some oil in a frying pan and fry fish until changes color.

Wipe some excess oil in the frying pan with a paper towel.

Pour the seasoning mixture over fish.

Simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes, or until the liquid is almost gone.
