Cat Lau is a freelance writer and recipe developer whose mission is to work closely with organic farmers in Thailand to create dishes with local and sustainable ingredients. She's excited to share her experience and passion for Thai cuisine here at The Spruce Eats.

Cat attended culinary school in Paris and has worked in Michelin Star restaurants in Paris, Bangkok, and Boston. Cat's passion for wellness and holistic living has lead her to become a Yoga teacher, Reiki Master, and life coach.
Food waste management and responsible consumption is at the core of her work. Cat consults for social enterprises to create a fair, traceable, and sustainable food system in Thailand.
