Lemon-lime soda is the secret ingredient in this easy slow cooker recipe. The ham is topped with a delicious homemade spiced honey mustard sauce. Try it with sweet potato biscuits.

  • 3 to 4 pounds boneless fully cooked ham

  • 1 (12-ounce) can Sprite or 7-Up

  • 1/4 cup honey

  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves

  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Steps to Make It

  1. Place ham in the slow cooker and pour soda over it. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours, or 3 to 4 hours on high.

  2. About 30 minutes before serving, combine honey and seasonings and mix with 3 tablespoons drippings from the bottom of the slow cooker.

  3. Spread glaze over ham and continue cooking. Let ham stand for 15 minutes before slicing.
