Lemon-lime soda is the secret ingredient in this easy slow cooker recipe. The ham is topped with a delicious homemade spiced honey mustard sauce. Try it with sweet potato biscuits.
3 to 4 pounds boneless fully cooked ham
1 (12-ounce) can Sprite or 7-Up
1/4 cup honey
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Place ham in the slow cooker and pour soda over it. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours, or 3 to 4 hours on high.
About 30 minutes before serving, combine honey and seasonings and mix with 3 tablespoons drippings from the bottom of the slow cooker.
Spread glaze over ham and continue cooking. Let ham stand for 15 minutes before slicing.
