The high, intense heat of your grill is the perfect environment to prepare all sorts of foods, including nachos. It might sound strange to use a grill instead of microwave or stove for this dish, but the results are delicious. Just make sure you use a grill-safe pan to make the best nachos you've ever had.

What You'll Need

  • 3-4 dozen large tortilla chips
  • 2 cups Monterey jack cheese, grated
  • 1/3 cup bacon, fried and crumbled
  • 1 medium red onion, chopped
  • 4 jalapeno chilies, chopped

How to Make It

  1. Preheat grill to a hot temperature.
  2. Arrange chips in a flat grilling pan. Cover with other ingredients.
  3. Place on grill and turn off the grill. Let cook for about 5 to 10 minutes or until cheese is melted. Keep a close eye on it to make sure that the cheese melts without burning.
  4. Remove from grill and serve immediately.
