Emily Cappiello has always loved everything about food—including how to make it, store it and keep it fresh. She spent six years as the cookware/bakeware editor at HomeWorld Business, a now-shuttered trade publication, and was the executive editor of Gourmet Insider, a publication targeted towards mom-and-pop housewares stores, which really allowed her to get the inside scoop on the industry. She's also been writing about the sector for consumer publications and can be seen in Bon Appétit, Healthyish, Chowhound, Liquor.com, VinePair, Taste of Home, and PopSugar. She enjoys recipe development, but not as much as eating and drinking her own creations.
A born and raised New Yorker, Emily obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree at Stony Brook University. She graduated with a Master of Arts Degree in English Literature from Hofstra University shortly thereafter.
