This simple marinade is perfect for adding an Asian flavor to any meat, poultry, fish, and vegetables. This is a classic and simple variation on many of the marinades and sauces found throughout East Asia.
- 4 green onions (sliced)
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 3 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon ginger (fresh, chopped)
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
1. Combine all ingredients and mix well until sugar is dissolved.
2. Marinate meat for 4 to 6 hours, poultry for 3 to 5 hours, fish and vegetables for 1 to 2 hours. Store marinade in an airtight container for up to three days after preparation.
