Make this big batch cocktail ahead of time for any party or event. A sweet ginger simple syrup marries beautifully with freshly brewed tea and moscato for a sparkling cocktail that's light and refreshing.

  • 1 cup sugar
  • ½ cup peeled and thinly sliced fresh ginger
  • 2½ qt. fresh brewed ice tea
  • 1 bottle moscato
  • 12 pieces candied ginger (for garnish)
  • 1 bottle moscato
  • Ice cubes

Steps to Make It

  1. Gather the ingredients.

  2. To make the ginger simple syrup, bring 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water to a boil. Make sure sugar is completely dissolved before removing from the heat and adding the fresh ginger.

  3. Let sit for about 10 minutes to steep. Strain and then allow the syrup to completely cool.

  4. In a pitcher, combine the syrup and tea and put in the refrigerator to chill.

  5. Fill tall glasses with ice cubes. Pour 1 cup of the tea in and then top off with about 1/4 cup moscato. Serve with a piece of candied ginger on rim or floating in the glass.
