  • 1/4 cup chopped lettuce
  • 2 tbsp. tzatziki
  • 3 grilled greek chicken tenders
  • 2 tbsp. chopped tomato
  • 1/2 tbsp. chopped red onion
  • a few sprigs of dill

Steps to Make It

  1. Place the boneless chicken tenderloins in an airtight container and add chicken, greek seasoning, olive oil and lemon juice. Let the chicken marinate for at least 30 minutes and unto 48 hours.

  2. Once they're sat in the marinade long enough,  remove them from the container and add the marinated chicken tenders to a medium-hot grill.

  3. Cook until the center is no longer pink and the exterior is golden brown. Remove from heat and set aside.

  1. 1. Meanwhile, in a small bowl add greek yogurt, chopped cucumber, chopped red onion, chopped fresh mint, chopped fresh dill, the juice from half lemon, 1 tablespoon olive oil and salt. If the sauce is too thick, add 1/2 tablespoon of water at a time until desired thinness is reached.

  1. Place a piece of tinfoil on your countertop. Add the warmed pita to the middle of the tinfoil and top with chopped lettuce, tzatziki sauce, chicken tenders, tomato, red onion and dill. Gently lift the sides of the pita up to create a taco-like shape to your chicken gyro.

  2. Pull the tinfoil tight around the sandwich (to help keeps it shape) and serve.
