This easy grilled catfish recipe is topped with a delicious balsamic-rosemary sauce. Serve with grilled vegetables or rice for a fantastic meal.

  • 1 pound catfish fillet
  • Dash salt
  • Dash black pepper
  • For the Sauce:
  • 2 to 3 cloves garlic (crushed)
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons honey

Steps to Make It

  1. Gather the ingredients.
  2. Heat oil in a small pan. Add garlic and cook for one minute. Add remaining sauce ingredients and bring to a boil, reduce heat and let the sauce simmer for 4 to 5 minutes. If sauce becomes too thick, add 1 tablespoon of water to the mixture. Remove sauce from heat, remove rosemary and let sauce cool.
  3. Preheat grill for medium-high heat. Season catfish with salt and black pepper. Place onto a well-oiled grill grate and cook for 5 minutes. Using a heat-resistant spatula, carefully flip catfish and cook for an additional 5 to 6 minutes or until fish are cooked through. Remove from heat and serve with drizzled sauce on top.
