I have to admit that I never planned this recipe out... I basically woke up, realized it was National Donut Day via instagram, sprinted to Dunkin Donuts to claim my free donut, went back to my place of work, and made this recipe all spur-of-the-moment like. To be honest though, this sort of delicacy is pretty perfect for any occasion! The combination of the light and airy donut against the sweet maple glaze, the smokey bacon and the buttery muenster cheese make this sandwich totally irresistible. Don't take my word though - follow the recipe below and try it yourself!

The Taylor Pork Roll is known as a classic New Jersey breakfast staple that sort of resembles Canadian Bacon. Comprised of ham, this product comes fully cooked, but when pan-fried the porky richness is amplified. And when covered in melted cheese - well as you could imagine, it gets even better.
This loaded breakfast grilled cheese features a buttery toasted crumpet, a few rich slices of Taylor Pork Roll, a couple of crunchy tater tots, and a few slices of gooey colby jack and nutty swiss. This carb-loaded sandwich is not for the timid eater and doesn't only have to be reserved for breakfast time. But pair this sandwich with some ketchup or hot sauce, and you've got a winner that's sure please.

What you have here is one of the finest Polish grilled cheese ideas of all time. This chee is unlikely to have ever been attempted on American soil, so this is groundbreaking stuff right here.
This particular cheese is called Oscypek (pronounced: Ozlsg@qyhdypekek). It’s a delicious smoked cheese made of salted sheep’s milk from the Tatra Mountains region of Poland. I plagiarized that straight out of Wikipedia... sorry, not sorry. Please feel free to explore more fascinating deets here. I discovered this seductive brine-soaked, 14-day-smoked bundle of goodness last year when I visited Kraków, Poland. Yeah, that’s right. I do things like GO to Kraków.
This sandwich has been known to make hardened men cry. It’s warmed up on a grill and then drizzled with some hot strawberry jelly. It tastes as if the sheep that birthed this smoky-salty treat was milked by the gloved hands of an angel. A real one, straight outta the cheesiest heaven.

Sauteed butternut squash, crispy bacon, and melted gouda come together between two buttery toasted slices of lard bread to create a sweet and savory sandwich that highlights the beautiful flavors of fall. The bread this this sandwich calls for is made with lard, so the fat content is much higher than regular store-bought bread.
