  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 12 ounces stout beer (take a small sip first, otherwise, there's just a bit too much!)
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 2/3 cup walnuts (chopped)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • Optional: dash nutmeg

Steps to Make It

  1. Combine all of the ingredients and mix them well.

  2. Pour into a greased loaf pan and bake for 50 minutes at 350 F.
