Ines Bellina is a writer, storyteller, and bon vivant. Her work has appeared in The Takeout, Chicago Magazine, Wine Enthusiast, Shondaland, and more. Originally from Peru, Ines is proud to be from a country with one of the most exciting cuisines in the world.
As the daughter of a former diplomat, Ines grew up tasting cuisines from all over the world, becoming an informal ambassador of Peruvian cuisine. After several years as a freelance writer, she began focusing on Chicago's culinary scene when she realized there was a need for more Latinx food voices. You can find her writing in Shondaland, Chicago Magazine, Wine Enthusiast, Block Club Chicago, The Takeout, The A.V. Club, and more. She is also one of the co-authors of "LGSNQ: Gentrification & Preservation in a Chicago Neighborhood", a photography book about the people and places that define Logan Square.
