From the makers of the household hero, Instant Pot, is a new game-changing single-serve coffee maker that lets you switch seamlessly between coffee and espresso in one device.

While there are plenty of coffee and espresso combo makers on the market, this new one, dubbed the Instant Pod, is unique as a single-serve coffee maker that works with both of the immensely popular K-Cups and Nespresso Pods. And since it's from the makers of Instant Pot, you know it's going to be good—and solve a void in your kitchen.

The arrival of the Instant Pod interrupts the conversation of choosing between investing in a Keurig or a Nespresso maker, and instead, you can truly have the best of both single-serve worlds. It's exceptionally useful if you have a partner with differing caffeine choices or you're all about mixing up your routine, but don't want to spend or have the space for both units. And if you're concerned about plastic waste, the device also works with the reusable K-Cup pods that you can fill with your own coffee grounds.

It's also incredibly easy to use, and, well, instant. After inserting your K-Cup or Pod, choose a cup size, press power, and within a minute, your piping hot cup of 'jo will be ready for sipping. The Instant Pod heats water to the optimal brewing temperatures to ensure that every K-Cup and espresso capsule delivers, and it can also be heated on demand.

The Instant Pod also packs a bunch of features into its compact black shell, like an extra-large 68-ounce removable water tank that hides in the rear, a used capsule compartment, and the ability to choose from six cup sizes ranging from a 2-ounce espresso shot to a 12-ounce Tall beverage. The design can accommodate travel mugs or you can flip down a ledge to create a shorter distance from the espresso mug and the drip. The drip tray is removable for easy cleaning, and the black body of the machine resists streaks and fingerprints. Measuring 16.2 x 7.2 x 13- inches, it can also fit unassumingly underneath overhead cabinets.

It's currently available exclusively at Walmart for $119.

And if you're really interested in furthering your barista skills, Instant released a $30 milk frother too, available here. The kettle-looking device serves up both hot and cold milk foam and works with dairy alternatives, too. It has four functions including the ability to create a warm, thick foam for your cappuccinos, a warm, light style of foam for your lattes, a smooth, cool foam for cold brew and iced coffees, and a warm setting to heat up milk for matcha, hot chocolate, and bulletproof coffee.

Both these innovative products might just be ready to secure a place on my very limited countertop.
