Jennifer Klump is an experienced research librarian who has been fact checking The Spruce articles since 2019. She has over 22 years of experience in conducting literature searches on a variety of topics such as health, wildlife, and education. Additionally, Jennifer is employed as a technical librarian with ASRC Federal, a subcontractor for the Environmental Protection Agency.

Experience
Jennifer Klump managed and operated an online reference desk service at Education Northwest, a non-profit that contracts with the U.S. Department of Education to provide evidence-based research and comprehensive support to educators. In addition to fact-checking, Jennifer currently works for a subcontractor of the Environmental Protection Agency where she fields public requests related to transportation and air quality. Jennifer has also tutored college students to find peer-reviewed research in library databases for their coursework.
Education
Jennifer received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Oregon and a Master of Library Science degree from Emporia State University. She was inducted into Beta Phi Mu, the international library and information studies honor society.
