Jessica is a student at Fordham University and a former athlete turned writer. They joined the Spruce Eats team as a summer intern where they help write, edit and assist the Spruce Eats editors. In their writing, they combine their love for food and their passion for advocacy.
Experience
Prior to working at the Spruce Eats, Jessica interned at The Guardian where they assisted in finding writers for the opinions section, interviewed athletes, and wrote articles for the sports section. They have also been an opinions writer and editor for The Observer, Fordham's student newspaper, for over two years.
Education
Jessica is receiving a BA in English from Fordham University.
