Kayla Hoang is a freelance recipe developer, recipe tester, and writer. Her love of food comes from her parents and their Bangladeshi and Vietnamese roots. She has a passion for pastry and in her free time can usually be found in the kitchen taking on another new baking project.
After graduating from Johnson and Wales University’s 4-year Baking and Pastry program, Kayla interned at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia and Food Network. She now freelances as a recipe tester, developer, and writer.
Kayla has a degree from Johnson and Wales University and training from Alain Ducasse’s Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Pâtisserie in Yssingeaux, France.
