Transform leftover Halloween candy into tasty bar cookies. Although this recipe calls for Snickers, you can easily substitute in Milky Ways, 1000-Dollar Bars, or any other treats.
Gather the ingredients.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray an 8-inch square baking dish with cooking spray.
In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium-low heat.
When butter is melted, remove pan from heat and add flour, oats, brown sugar, baking soda and vanilla. Mix until well-combined.
Set aside about one-third of the mixture. Press the remaining mixture into prepared pan.
Lay sliced Snickers bars over top, leaving a 1/4-inch border all the way around. Crumble remaining oat mixture over the sliced candy bars.
Bake 25 minutes. Cool completely, then cut into squares.
Serve and enjoy!
