This simple pork chop recipe has the chops marinating in soy sauce and lemon pepper seasonings. You get a lot of flavor without a lot of ingredients.


  • 4 bone-in pork chops
  • 1/3 cup/80 mL water
  • 1/3 cup/80 mL soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup/60 mL olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons/30 mL rice wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons/30 mL lemon pepper seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon/2.5 mL sea salt

Steps to Make It

  1. Place pork chops into​ a resealable plastic bag.

  2. Combine marinade ingredients and pour over chops. 

  3. Make sure meat is well coated. 

  4. Seal bag and place into refrigerator for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. 

  5. Preheat grill for medium-high heat. 

  6. Remove chops from bag and place onto grill. 

  7. Cook for 10 minutes per side, or until internal temperature reaches 165 F (75 C). 

  8. Once cooked, remove from grill and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
