Lori Rice is a food and beverage writer and photographer with articles and recipes appearing in publications such as CiderCraft Magazine, King Arthur Flour’s SIFT Magazine, The Coastal Table, and Plate Magazine as well as websites such as CraftBeer.com.
A Certified Beer Server through Cicerone.org, Lori has written and photographed two cookbooks about cooking and baking with beer. In addition to her web and print articles, Lori has worked with numerous food brands and agriculture boards providing food writing, recipe development, and food photography. Some of her clients include California Olive Ranch, Wonderful Citrus, Petaluma Poultry, California Figs, and The Mushroom Council.
Education
Lori graduated with a Masters of Science in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Kentucky in 2004 and from Purdue University with a Bachelors of Science in Family & Consumer Sciences in 2002. Both her education and early work kept her closely connected to food, agriculture, and the Cooperative Extension Service.
