  • 2 pounds ground beef

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • 2 cups prepared macaroni and cheese

  • 1/2 cup cheese sauce, warmed

  • 1/4 cup jalapenos (pickled or freshly sliced)

  • 3 hoagie buns

Steps to Make It

  1. Gather the ingredients.

  2. Divide ground beef into three equal parts. Spread each part out on a piece of plastic wrap into a thin, large square. Spread about one-third of the macaroni and cheese.

  3. Using plastic wrap, roll the whole package into a large, hot dog shape, making sure to keep macaroni inside. Seal edges of meat to make a stuffed burger dog. Continue with remaining ingredients.

  4. Preheat grill to medium-high. Gently place burger dogs over direct heat and grill for about 15 minutes, rolling to cook evenly. Remove from grill, place on hoagie buns, and top with melted cheese sauce and jalapenos.
