The subtle, earthy sweetness of maple syrup and the nutty goodness of walnuts combine to make one great salad dressing. Use this maple walnut salad dressing recipe on a traditional tossed green salad, or to dress vegetable salads. Thanks to Veronica Callaghan from Super Market Serenade for sharing this great salad dressing recipe with us.
In a food processor or blender combine the vinegar, syrup, olive oil, water, shallot, cayenne pepper, salt and 1 tablespoon of the walnuts; process until smooth.
Drizzle each salad with the dressing and scatter with the remaining walnuts.
