I'm Maria, a recipe developer and food stylist from New Orleans. My Southern recipes and thorough explanations help people make the best homemade food of their lives!

Experience

Maria’s experience developing recipes began at a meal kit company where she worked with farmers and chefs throughout Louisiana to craft recipes that minimize food waste. Later she launched her Southern food blog, Murmurs of Ricotta, which features thorough recipes for her favorite Southern foods. Her blog houses some of Google’s top-ranking recipes like Gouda Mac and her award-winning Mardi Gras King Cake. Now residing in Southern California, Maria writes and develops recipes for publications such as Kitchn, Delish and Food Network.

Education

Maria has a Bachelor’s of Arts in Mass Communications from Louisiana State University.
