Matcha Butter is a blend of matcha green tea and butter. It has a distinctive flavor that is versatile enough for use in cooking chicken, fish and vegetables or topping muffins, toast or bagels.
- 1 1/2 tablespoons butter (room temperature)
- 2 teaspoons matcha green tea powder (depending on desired strength)
- Optional: 1 pinch salt (to taste)
- Optional: 1 pinch sugar (to taste)
Mix all ingredients with a fork until thoroughly blended. Store refrigerated in an airtight container until ready to use.
