If you like the flavor of pecan pie but don't care for the nuts, this fake pecan pie might be just what you're looking for. With oats standing in for the pecans, it's easy on the budget too!

What You'll Need

  • 2 eggs (beaten)
  • 2/3 cup margarine (melted)
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 2/3 cup light corn syrup
  • 2/3 cup regular rolled oats
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • Unbaked 9-inch pie crust

How to Make It

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
  2. Combine the eggs, margarine, sugar, corn syrup, oats, salt, and vanilla.
  3. Mix well.
  4. Pour into unbaked pie crust and bake for 1 hour.
