Mix up your standard beef patties with these homemade pork burgers. The patties are made by combining ground pork with bacon, onion, and parmesan cheese and then grilled. Serve them on a typical hamburger bun, a kaiser roll, or in a lettuce wrap. Then add on your favorite condiments and enjoy this fantastic burger.
- 1/2 lb. ground pork
- 2 strips thick-cut bacon
- 1/2 oz parmesan cheese, shredded (about 3 tbsp.)
- 3 tbsp. finely chopped red onion
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Pinch of ground black pepper
Dice bacon into 1/4 inch pieces.
Mix all ingredients together (by hand work best).
Form into 3 patties about 1/2 inch thick.
Grill over medium heat for 5 to 6 minutes per side.
