I find that the vibrant colors of the raspberries and the mild flavor of dinosaur kale make a powerful raw food green smoothie combination. The bright raspberry color masks the greenness, and even though I put nearly an entire bunch of kale in this smoothie, my friend's kids didn't even notice. Isn't this one of the most beautiful raw food green smoothies you've ever seen?

What You'll Need

  • 6 to 8 leaves lacinato kale (stems removed)
  • 3/4 cup raspberries (frozen)
  • 1 banana
  • 2 to 3 ice cubes
  • 1/2 cup orange juice (about)
  • Optional: 1/2 apple (chopped)
  • Optional: ground flaxseeds

How to Make It

  1. Blend everything together adding more or less ice and liquid, depending on your preference. Enjoy!
