This easy mango salsa recipe is also a raw vegan food recipe suitable for those on a raw food diet, and, with nothing more than fresh mangos and peaches, garlic, lime, and cilantro, this is also a gluten-free recipe suitable for anyone with wheat allergies. Like most salsa recipes, it is also very low in calories and virtually fat-free.
- 2 mangos, peeled and chopped
- 2 fresh peaches, peeled and chopped
- 1 medium-sized sweet onion, diced
- 1 medium tomato, diced (optional)
- 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
- Juice of one lime
- Dash salt and pepper
Combine all ingredients and chill. If you have a food processor, you can process all the ingredients in chunks, rather than dicing and chopping.
Chill before serving. Taste, and add a bit more salt and pepper, lime, or cilantro to taste.
