How to Make Emoji Rice Krispies Treats

Ingredients & Supplies
- 3 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 2 cups mini marshmallows
- 4 1/2 teaspoons butter
- yellow food coloring
- Decorating icing (I prefer Wilton) in Black, White, and Pink

- Icing decorating tip (to screw on to icing tube)
- 8” cake ring

Melt the Butter
Step 1: Melt butter on low heat in a large nonstick pot.Continue to 4 of 8 below.

Add the Mini Marshmallows
Step 2: When butter is almost melted, add mini marshmallows and stir to coat. Allow marshmallows to melt about 75-80%, add a few drops of yellow food coloring and stir. Turn off burner and add Rice Krispies Cereal.
Tip: Flavor your treats using extracts, powdered cake mixes, muffin mixes, and cookie mixes by adding a few drops or scoops along with the Rice Krispies. Try mix-ins like peanut butter, chocolate chips, or cake mixes to experiment with even more great flavors.Continue to 5 of 8 below.

Simplest Cake Ring Prep
Step 3: Prep the cake ring by spraying it with cooking spray.

Make the Rice Krispy mold
Step 4: Pour mixture into center of cake ring and spread to edges before removing cake ring.

Draw the smile
Step 5: Using black icing, draw the blinking eye and smile.

Step 6: Using white icing, draw the other eye, add pupil with black icing. Using pink icing draw the tongue.
