Sabrina Russo, RD is a registered dietitian with nearly a decade of experience in the field. She spent the last several years working as a renal dietitian at dialysis centers in New York City. Prior to that, she worked as a general Clinical Dietitian at New York Presbyterian Queens Hospital, and was later promoted to Patient Services Manager.
Over the past few years, Sabrina has worked on the side as a freelance health and nutrition writer. Sabrina’s writing has been published in various media sources including ELLE Online, POPSUGAR, and Shape Online. She also has professional experience working in a food photography studio. In addition to writing, she freelances in the areas of recipe development, food styling and photography.
Sabrina wrote her thesis on the Affects of Iron Deficiency on Restless Leg Syndrome and graduated with High Distinction from The Schreyer Honors College at Pennsylvania State University. She is a freelance health and nutrition writer. Previously she was a renal dietitian at Grand Concourse Dialysis Center, and a clinical dietitian and patient services manager at New York Presbyterian Queens Hospital.
