Sean Timberlake is a former writer for The Spruce, contributing articles and recipes for two years. Sean began writing professionally in 1996, and in 2008 launched a personal food blog. In exploring food topics, he became fascinated with food preservation, and launched Punk Domestics, a content and community site for DIY food enthusiasts, in 2010. He is a senior content marketing manager for Sun Basket.

Sean has also been a panelist, moderator and instructor on many matters food-related. He also leads culinary tours to Italy and around San Francisco.


Sean Timberlake attended Stony Brook University.
