Is it taco night? Make it extra special with this shredded pork for burritos recipe made with a boneless pork shoulder or Boston butt, seasonings and garlic. Serve this pork with flour tortillas, rice, refried beans, and tomatoes. Pork loin works in this recipe as well, but the shredded pork will be a bit chewier.
Ingredients

- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 medium cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/2 cup water

- Optional: shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- Garnish: chopped seeded tomato
- Garnish:Â diced onion
- Garnish:Â shredded lettuce
- Garnish:Â sour cream
- Garnish:Â guacamole
- Garnish:Â shredded cheese
- Garnish:Â sliced ripe olives
Steps to Make It
