Serve this tasty smoked oyster party spread with crackers or toasted baguette rounds.

Ingredients

  • 2 (8 oz.) packages cream cheese, room temperature
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 cans smoked oysters, drained, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons grated onion
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup fresh minced parsley

Steps to Make It

  1. Cream together cream cheese, Worcestershire, garlic powder, onion, mayonnaise, and salt. Stir in chopped oysters. Wrap in waxed paper and chill thoroughly, about 2 to 3 hours.

  2. Shape into a log and roll in chopped parsley; chill for at least 4 hours before serving.

  3. Serve with assorted crackers or toasted French bread rounds.

Recipe Tip

  • To add some crunch, omit the parsley and roll the log in finely chopped pecans or walnuts.
