These smokey bacon jalapeno popper dip party buns are great for entertaining because all you have to do is bake them before anyone gets there, then set them out and voila - a one time meal that feeds for hours. All you have to do is prep it, bake it, and then sit back as everyone pats you on the back for making the best snack of all time. Word to the wise, these are very very addicting so you might want to make more than 1 pan full if you're cooking for people who don't know what it means to be full.
- CBC Sweet Party Rolls (as many as you can fit into your baking pan!)
- 1/2 cup cream cheese (room temp)
- 1/4 cup mayo
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 3 tbsp. ranch dressing
- 3/4 cup cheddar cheese (1/4 reserved for topping)
- 1/2 cup smoked gouda
- 1/4 cup pickled jalapenos
- 1/4 cup crushed Ritz crackers
- 1/2 cup chopped bacon
- nonstick spray
Preheat your oven to 350 F.
Begin by mixing the filling. Combine mayo, sour cream, cream cheese and ranch and mix together. Add cheddar, gouda, pickled jalapenos, and bacon and stir. Add in Ritz crackers to thicken it up. Set mixture aside.
Spray the inside of your pan with nonstick spray and place the bottom half of CBC Sweet Party Rolls, separated from each other, in the bottom of the baking pan.
Gently plop the jalapeno popper mix in and smooth it down so the dip is evenly distributed. Top with the other half of the Cobblestone Party Buns and sprinkle with the reserved cheddar.
Bake at 350 F until the popper mixture is bubbling and the cheese crust has browned.
Set out and let your guests eat as desired!
