This is a great recipe for tilapia. This fish is loaded with flavor and quite similar to tilapia dishes that you would find in a restaurants.

Ingredients

For the Aioli:

  • 1 1/2 cups mayonnaise

  • 6 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice

  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

For the Tilapia:

  • 2 tablespoons chili powder

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin

  • 2 pounds tilapia fillets

  1. Gather the ingredients.

  2. In a medium bowl, add the mayonnaise, garlic, lemon juice, and Dijon mustard.

  3. Mix well, cover, and refrigerate until ready to serve the tilapia.

Make the Tilapia

  1. Gather remaining ingredients.

  2. Preheat the grill. In a small bowl, combine the chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and cumin.

  3. Sprinkle the spice mixture over both sides of the tilapia fillets.

  4. Place the tilapia on the hot grill and cook for about 4 to 5 minutes over medium-high heat, turning once. The fish is done when it reaches an internal temperature of about 145 F to 150 F.
