Make the Popcorn

Below is a list of ingredients that you will need for making this colorful treat:
- 8 cups popped corn, make sure to remove the unpopped kernels.
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3⁄4 cup water
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 10 to 15 drops of food coloring or about 1/8 teaspoon of gel food coloring.
First, begin with 8 cups of popped popcorn in a large bowl. Make sure there are no un-popped kernels.
Tip: Most bags of microwave popcorn make about 12 cups of popped popcorn.

Prepare the Pan
