Perfect for summer sipping or backyard barbecues, our white wine, strawberry and kiwi based Sangria doesn't disappoint!

What You'll Need

  • 1 bottle (750 mL) of white wine (Spanish Albarino, Sauvignon Blanc, Torrontes, or a white wine blend work particularly well with this recipe)
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries (washed, hulled and cut in quarters)
  • 3 to 4 kiwis (peeled and sliced)
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 cups lemon-lime soda
  • Optional: a squeeze of lemon (or lime, to add more acidity)

How to Make It

  1. Start this tasty Sangria outright by pouring the white wine into a large pitcher.
  2. Next, add the sugar and stir until dissolved. Bring on the washed and sliced strawberry and kiwi fruit, add an optional squeeze of lemon or lime. Cover and refrigerate for a minimum of 4 hours.
  3. When ready to serve, add ice and 2 cups of your favorite lemon-lime soda to the pitcher. Gently stir. Pour and serve.
