Susan Marque is home cook, writer, recipe developer, and a person who is super curious about all things healthy. She also writes screenplays and is a SAG-AFTRA actress who’s voice work you’ve probably heard.
Susan was living in Los Angeles and working as an actress when the changes she made in her diet began garnering notice from friends and colleagues. They wanted everything they saw in her and a food coaching business blossomed.
Susan taught food theory and cooking classes and wrote up cookbooks and information material for her students. She realized she loved writing and decided to get formally trained. She earned two degrees in four years at The New School, and began writing for publications such as The Washington Post, Chowhound, Livestrong, and others.
You’ll often find her experimenting with an under loved vegetable or seasoning to see what it’s potential might be, reading up on the latest food research, or getting inspired by new cookbooks.
Susan learned to cook from her Mom, as well as cooking classes, and years in her own kitchen.
