A delicious and easy to make Swiss venison steak crock pot recipe made with onion soup mix.

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds venison steak
  • Flour, about 1/2 cup
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon ​​salt
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix
  • 1 can (10 3/4 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup

Steps to Make It

  1. Gather the ingredients.

  2. Mix flour, salt, pepper and garlic salt together.

  3. Coat meat with flour.

  4. Tenderize meat by pounding with a meat hammer. Brown in a heavy skillet.

  5. Put meat in roasting pan or slow cooker.

  6. Pour both soups on top and cook for 3 hours at 325 F in a roaster or a slow cooker on high for 4 hours.
