Tam Le
Tam Le is a proud Vietnamese-Texan with an international palate developed from living in Houston, Austin, London, Istanbul, New York, Singapore, and Ho Chi Minh City. Her recipes are developed with a sensitivity to culinary history and regional nuances.
Experience
Tam is currently a recipe writer and food photographer. She was also the founder and head chef of Saigonita, a now-shuttered restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City that served Mexican dishes inspired by the ingredients and cuisine of Vietnam.
Education
She holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from The University of Texas at Austin, majoring in marketing and minoring in psychology. She has also attended cooking classes in Vietnam, Thailand, Bali, and Japan.
