Tandoori Chicken is probably among India's most famous foods! It is what has brought the Tandoor (clay oven) and foods cooked in it to prominence. There is nothing to beat the lovely smokey flavor cooking in a Tandoor creates in foods. From bread to Kababs and curries, there's a lot you can cook Tandoori style. However, since most people don't have a Tandoor in their backyard, all my recipes have been written with instructions for cooking in an oven or on the grill or barbecue.

Naans are traditionally cooked in a Tandoor or earthen oven but can also be made in your oven at home. Serve this delicious bread hot, with popular dishes like Tandoori Chicken or kebabs of different kinds. The dough for Naans needs to be made in advance, so factor that into the preparation time.

    Reshmi Kabab

This delicious kabab gets its name from the juicy, succulence of the meat used to make it. The meat gets this way thanks to the marinade in which it is soaked. Serve it with Mint-Coriander Chutney, thinly sliced onions and hot Naans (recipe above).
