  • 2 cups water
  • 1 lemon (juice and grated rind)
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • few drops Tabasco sauce
  • 2 ribs celery, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1 1/2 to 2 lbs pork chops

Steps to Make It

  1. Gather the ingredients.
  2. Mix all ingredients, except pork, in a 2-quart saucepan. Bring to a boil and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes. Brown chops; place in a baking dish. Cover with sauce; bake for 1 1/2 to 2 hours at 350 degrees.
