Yields: 4 1/4-pound burgers

Finely chopped garlic and onion built right into the burger patty and topped with spicy red peppers, red onion, and cool avocado. This burger is loaded with flavor and perfect for cookouts and tailgating.


  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup minced onion
  • 2 cloves garlic (pressed)
  • 2 teaspoons Montreal steak seasoning (to taste)
  • 4 large onion rolls
  • 1 red onion (sliced thin)
  • 1 (12-ounce) jar roasted red peppers
  • 2 avocados (sliced)

Steps to Make It

  1. Gather the ingredients. Preheat the grill for high heat.

  2. In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, minced onion, and pressed garlic.

  3. Form into 4 equal patties

  4. Sprinkle each pattie with Montreal steak seasoning.

  5. Grill the burgers for 4 to 5 minutes per side, or until cooked to your liking.

  6. Place hamburger patties on an onion roll and top with red onion, lots of roasted red peppers, and avocado slices. Enjoy!
