When you think of an avocado, bacon and ranch sandwich, you probably don't think of it as health food. But hey, don't let that preconceived idea sway you away from this tasty sandwich.

The trick to making this sandwich healthy-ish is all about replacing your typical store bought ranch with our homemade guilt-free version. To do this, swap out mayo for flavorful and tart Greek yogurt. Instead of saturated fats, your dressing will be packed full of live cultures and probiotics that help with digestion and boost immunity.

And you may also be saying why not swap out real bacon for turkey bacon or some other substitute? According to, pork bacon reigns king over turkey bacon for health benefits. Not only is it higher in healthy fats but it's also got more free radical fighting selenium, cholesterol lowering niacin, and fertility boosting folate. 

The whole grain wrap is also vital is making this sandwich not so bad for you!


  • Guilt-Free "Ranch" Dressing Ingredients:
  • 1 tbsp. plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 pinch dill
  • 1 pinch garlic powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch pepper
  • 1/2 tbsp. rice wine vinegar
  • Wrap Ingredients: 
  • 1.5 tbsp. homemade guilt-free "ranch" dressing
  • 1 whole grain wrap
  • 1/2 small avocado
  • 2 tbsp. cherry tomatoes
  • 2 slices low sodium bacon, cooked

Guilt-Free "Ranch" Dressing Instructions

  1. Gather the ingredients.

  2. In a small bowl, combine greek yogurt, dill, garlic powder, salt, pepper and rice wine vinegar and stir until all the ingredients are incorporated into a creamy dressing. 

Sandwich Wrap Instructions

  1. Wrap the wholegrain wrap in tinfoil and put in a hot oven to warm.

  2. Remove from heat, open up, and add half of a mashed avocado. Add the cooked bacon and drizzle with ranch. Top with tomatoes and roll up or eat it like a taco. 

This sandwich is best eaten right away as the avocado browns with time.
