This basic vinaigrette becomes fruity and fancy with the addition of fresh squeezed orange juice and goes perfectly with a fennel and mint salad. Using orange juice ups the flavor while using a bit less olive oil, making this vinaigrette lower in fat than other versions. With nothing but balsamic vinegar, olive oil, orange juice, salt, and pepper, this orange vinaigrette is vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free.
Gather the ingredients.
Combine all ingredients except oil in a medium-sized bowl.
Slowly, while whisking briskly, add oil and combine well.
