Taking inspiration from cocktail party crostini, this toast is an elegant breakfast or snack for any time of day. If you've never added fresh herbs to your toast before, you'll wonder why you never did. A few pinches of fresh thyme ties all the sweet and nutty flavors of this toast together beautifully.
Ingredients
- 2 oz. goat cheese
- 1/4 cup walnuts (chopped coarsely)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 slices of bread you prefer (french bread works well)

- Drizzle: honey
Steps to Make It
-
Gather the ingredients.
-
Toast the bread.
-
Slather each slice with goat cheese. Sprinkle walnuts, thyme, salt and pepper on top and drizzle with the honey.
